WHERE IS SHE, DEIOR?

[You've got some 'splainin to do.]

You've taken her -- I know it! I'm not a fool, I know you enjoy taunting, teasing us with familiar faces then yanking them away!

[He's seen it. Roxanne. Minion. Both gone, in a blink. Now Bryn.]

Where are they? What have you done with them? [He has not been this fueled by rage in a long, long time.]

Return her to me or you will see just how much a of a villain I can really be.

Okay.

[She doesn't want to give him false hope, but at the same time, she doesn't want to shatter him either.]

Are you in your room?

I am, yes.

[About to go on a rampage, but -- for now, he's in his room.]

[She's there in minutes and knocking at the door, though saying nothing. She really doesn't think they'll find them - this place is just like the elegante, and people who disappear tend to not come back - but she'll try.]

[He's bent over his desk, gloved hands gripping at the edges as he tries to keep control of himself.]

[Wolf says nothing, entering when told to. The way he's standing reminds her painfully of every time she's lost control of herself.]

Let's get this started, then. You have her coat, you said?

[He just -- points to a jacket draped over a chair.]

She left it in the dining hall one night. I kept meaning to --

[He clears his throat.]

Return it.

Megamind. If she's here, I'll find her. I promise.

[He's on the verge of breaking down and she knows it. Best get this over with quickly.

She's never shifted in front of him before, but doesn't bother to hide it as she crosses to the jacket, transitioning to wolf mode before she ever reaches the thing.

Wolf gives the jacket a few good, long sniffs before padding silently to the door and glancing back at him pointedly before nosing the door open again, heading out after the traces of the scent. Whether he follows along is up to him; she can't tell yet where the scent will lead, but she'll follow it as long as she needs to.]

[He nods, and looks up, eyes sharp and angry.

He waits for her to get the scent, then does indeed follow after her as she leaves, watching where she goes.

This will confirm it, but he's pretty sure he already knows the outcome.]

[The first place the scent takes her to is another cell, but its a dead end and Sarea knows it. Its likely Bryn's room, and since she can't hear anything inside Sarea continues past it, tracing the scent as well as she can.

It'll lead her around the castle, wherever the woman had gone, but ultimately Wolf knows they aren't going to find her. Just like so many before her, Bryn is gone.]

[He follows with her, but the lack of any results just confirms what he feared.

She was gone. Roxanne was gone. Minion was gone.]

[Wolf's ears are flattened, her tail down. She'd hoped they would find her; she honestly had. But it hadn't been a strong hope.

Sarea's to tired to manage another shift right now, so she simply sits close beside him and leans against his leg a little, whining quietly in an attempt to say "I'm so, so sorry." once more.]

[A hand is rubbed across his face before he briefly reaches down to touch her on the top of the head, between her ears.]

I -- think I'd like to be alone now, if you don't mind, Sarea.

[wolvesxeyes]

[Wolf gives a quiet 'aroo' before nuzzling his hand again, understanding. She trots off slowly, glancing back once before leaving him to himself.

She understands what its like to lose someone; he can have all the time he needs.]
