[She holds the heart protectively as she steps in. He doesn't get it until she knows...]

[Ryn's not exactly thrilled either, seeing as her best friend has also pulled a disappearing act.

She's not in possession of enough energy to even care about what the fuck this heart in a jar shit means.]

If you want mine, you're more than welcome to the damn thing. I've no use for it. Just don't be breaking it, just in case.

[He was reaching out to take it eagerly when she stops him in his tracks.]

I…would not know, Bryn. I am fairly unfamiliar with human rituals in regards to dating, relationships, and nearly all holidays. [He had assumed it was a day of ‘love’ and ‘companionship’, but had apparently wrongly assumed that it wasn’t for him.

He gives her a sheepish look]

It isn’t something I’ve ever actively participated in on the ‘romantic’ end of it. I’ve only ever attempted to ruin it.

I'm rather surprised I haven't ensnared you already, my dear.

[Sup Tammy, he's practicing his flirt on you!]

[He flings it open, jubilant.]

[And she is doing her best not to crack up. Bring it on, Megamind, let's commence with the flirtations.]

And after all that big talk about the care with which you lavish your kidnappees. Should I take this oversight personally?

Why Miss Sable...if I didn't know better, one would think you were requesting a kidnap.

Let's just say that at least this time the forewarning would ease the transition.

But surely your schedule is just bursting with things to do. People to kidnap. Ransom notes to deliver. Evil to commit.
